An extraordinary vintage Murano glass geode bowl attributed to the glassmaster Archimede Seguso. Expertly hand-blown into the shape of water, it has a blue center submerged in liquid-like aquamarine glass, using the Venetian 'sommerso' technique. A rare example of Murano art glass.
Found in Genova.
Condition: Very good. This piece is in very good vintage condition with some minor age-related wear. There is one small fleabite on the outer edge that is not noticeable and some movement marks on the bottom. Some marks and small bubbles may be present due to the hand-made nature of the piece. It is unmarked but there are references online with a label.
