Áine Greaney was born and raised on a remote farm in County Mayo, Ireland. She now lives and writes on Boston’s North Shore. In addition to her five published books, her essays, features and stories have been published in various outlets, including Creative Nonfiction, The Boston Globe Magazine, The New York Times, , NPR's WBUR station, Salon, Huffington Post, Books Ireland, IMAGE Magazine, Generation Emigration (The Irish Times), The Wisdom Daily, The Feminist Wire and other publications.
