Litterguard®: Clostridium perfringens Type C-Escherichia coli bacterin-toxoid
Litterguard® is protection against neonatal diarrhea you can count on. Vaccinate sows with LitterGuard® to help protect your piglets from scours.
Litterguard vaccine is approved for use in healthy pregnant sows and gilts for passive transfer of protective maternal antibodies to their piglets to help protect against neonatal diarrhea.
Litterguard helps protect against illness caused by enterotoxigenic strains of Escherichia coli (E. coli) having the K99, K88, 987P or F41 adherence factors. It also helps protect against neonatal diarrhea caused by beta toxin produced by Clostridium perfringens Type C.
Indications
For vaccination of healthy pregnant sows and gilts for passive transfer of protective maternal antibodies to their piglets to help protect against neonatal diarrhea caused by beta toxin produced by C. perfringens Type C and enterotoxigenic strains of E. coli-producing heat-labile toxin or having the K99, K88, 987P or F41 adherence factors.
