The subtle curve beneath the shell distinguishes the female tortoise, a detail carefully observed and carried through in this sterling silver sculpture.

Created by Patrick Mavros and handcrafted in our Studio in Zimbabwe, each piece begins as a hand-worked model before molten silver is poured using the traditional lost wax casting method. The sculpture is then hand-finished and polished, preserving the depth and texture of the original form.
