It tells the history of the Town of Highland and its townsfolk (Austin, Leavenworth, Eldred, Myers, Bodine, Bradley, Bosch, Clark, Gardner, Hallock, Mills, Boyd, Horton, Parker, Greig, Stege, Sergeant, and Tether), many of whom own boarding houses. Echo Hill and Mountain Grove is bursting with anecdotes and first person accounts about people, boarding houses, occupations, and events. It includes visits to Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, New York City, and France. The narrative also gives details on the Shohola Depot, Shohola Glen, Shohola House, the Pelton Soda Factory, the Roebling Bridge, the Congregational Church Centennial, Zane Grey, two presidential assassinations, and World War I. Echo Hill and Mountain Grove contains over 900 images (photos, postcards, documents), several first person accounts, an 1881 Diary, 446 letters (150 WWI letters, including some from Lone Scout readers in 1918), 9 original maps, and an index of 1500 people, places, and events. Shed Really Bad
I love tge feel of these blankets. However, they shed really bad. We have blanket fuzzy embedded in all of our clothes from these blankets. I have washed them several times.

Light, soft, comfy, cozy, but not hot!

I've been looking for a blanket to replace a Berkshire blanket called "Perfect Touch" I've had since 2009 and this is it! I wanted something light weight, comfy, and cozy that doesn't get so hot like many do. When I first got it i thought it might get hot because its soooo fluffy, but it doesn't. I know some have complained about shedding or it coming apart after washing. I've washed it several times, following the washing instructions provided and haven't had any issues at all, really nice quality for the price!
Oh, and its cat approved too.

Cute for girl's dorm room! Needs a wash/dry warning.

Wash/dry by itself. Leaves lint on anything and everything that is washed and dried with it. Kiddo learned the hard way. Loves the blanket and it's feel and color but was disappointed with the left-over pills on the rest of her items from that 1 load. Soft, fluffy and lavender. Great for her dorm!

Beauty Quality Excellent Price!

Wonderful quality blanket! It’s light weight, warm without being heavy, beautiful rich color. Super fast shipping. Came in a smallish box and I was a little worried it would be cheap, but being experienced with items that come with the air sucked out so I waited to see. Sure enough, once the plastic was off it fluffed out and I popped it in the dryer for 5 minutes and all the wrinkles were gone too! I absolutely don’t need a bed spread because the finish looks like expensive silk velvet! I’m buying more for the other bedrooms! I ordered a Queen, olive, 90”x90”, price is incredible and I would have paid double to get this kind of quality!
Love the rich feel and gorgeous color of this blanket. I know they call it olive but it is actually a deep luxurious fern from an untouched dark forest filled with fairy houses and wonderous beings! I’m getting another, sigh…

Exactly as described
Size: Throw XL (50x70 Inch), Color: Navy
I wanted to get the little longer size, to help cover my feet while I sleep, because I sleep in a recliner due to back issues.
Wow! The material is super soft, and keeps just at the right temperature of warmth at night, so the material breathes well. The extra 10 inches is a godsend now.. My feet stay warm all night long now. So the fit is perfect! The quality of the blanket is great, I’ve had no problems with it. Although my white watch band is now blue.. so I guess the color likes to bleed a bit. I haven’t washed it yet, but I will wash it either alone or with dark colors, because I believe it will bleed its color a bit in the wash & perhaps in the dryer.
Still, with it being so comfortable and soft, I would highly recommend this blanket to everyone!
