Einleitung

Der Chardonnay „Drei Dörfer“ 2023 zeigt eindrucksvoll, wie präzise und mineralisch ein Kaiserstuhl-Chardonnay heute sein kann. Straff, kühl, burgundisch inspiriert – und zugleich klar badisch in seiner Herkunft. Ein Wein mit Energie, Tiefe und bemerkenswerter Finesse.

Herkunft / Lage / Vinifikation

Die Trauben stammen aus Achkarren, Jechtingen und Schelingen, überwiegend aus VDP.GROSSEN LAGEN auf typisch vulkanischem Gestein. Das Terroir prägt die salzige, kühle Mineralität und die straffe Struktur.

Vergoren und rund 12 Monate im Barrique ausgebaut, anschließend 6 Monate Feinhefelager im Edelstahl – für Präzision, Spannung und perfekt eingebundenes Holz.
Der Stil: puristisch, tief mineralisch, mit feiner Reduktion, die dem Wein zusätzliche Komplexität verleiht.

Nase: Feine, kühle Reduktion, Feuerstein, Streichholz, Zitronenabrieb, Quitte und gelber Apfel
Gaumen: Präzise, vibrierend frisch, salzig, straff und karg-mineralisch mit zarter Tannintextur
Abgang: Sehr lang, kräutrig, kalkig, mit klarer, burgundischer Eleganz

Warm Hands for Experienced Snow Machine Riders
Durable, lightweight, comfortable, and warm (my sled has heated handlebars). Gauntlets hold their shape very well. Easy to get hands in and out. Clear screen fogs up on the inside, so you can't see through it. I recommend for experienced riders who know where all of the buttons are. After getting a few good rides with a swithbox gremlin I would be comfortable using them again. Will also need to reposition OFF BUTTON. Gauntlet fabric at handlebars is a little flimsy, so putting hands in and out may accidentally press the button. I might add pieces of foam where gauntlets secure to handlebars to add structure and support. I had no problems on my very first ride, but I didn't test the amount of pressure needed to make it press the button. I've recommended them to others in Facebook Groups. I trust the brand. Had no problem fitting hands and arms in and out with thick coat & gloves in -14°F to +36°F. All-in-all... Worth the money, but would recommend waiting for a sale.
