Durch das Tampern wird das Kaffeepulver im Sieb verdichtet, sodass ein fester und gleichmässiger Kaffeekuchen mit einer glatten und ebenen Oberfläche entsteht. So wird der Kanaleffekt vermieden und eine gleichmässige Extraktion des gesamten Kaffeepulvers erreicht. So werden alle Aromastoffe aus dem Kaffee gelöst.

Der CD Serie Tamper ist mit einem druckbasierten Federmechanismus ausgestattet, um eine stabile Druckabgabe zu gewährleisten und ein Kippen zu verhindern. Die Stopftiefe von ca. 23 mm eignet sich für verschiedene Anforderungen bei der Kaffeezubereitung. Der Aussenring, der flach auf dem Siebträger aufliegt, sorgt dafür, dass der Tamper immer senkrecht nach unten gedrückt wird. Der Tamper wird einfach aufgesetzt und nach unten gedrückt; die Feder zieht die Basis wieder nach oben.

Dieser Tamper passt perfekt auf 53 mm Siebträger.
Durch wiederholte Tests hat MHW 3Bomber festgestellt, dass 53,35 mm die perfekte Grösse für Leveling Tools und Tampers ist. Diese passen genau in 53 mm Siebträger und reduzieren die Verschwendung von Kaffeepulver.

Er hat einen ergonomischen Griff und liegt gut in der Hand. Ausserdem ist der Boden mit konzentrischen Rillen versehen, wodurch mehr Kaffeepulver mit dem Wasser in Kontakt kommt. Das führt zu einer besseren Extraktion.

Der gesamte Tamper ist aus hochwertigen Materialien gefertigt. Der Griff und der Mittelteil ist aus einer Aluminiumlegierung und die Basis sowie die Feder aus rostfreiem Stahl (SUS304). Der Tamper ist zerlegbar und kann daher leicht gereinigt werden.

Bei richtiger Anwendung kann mit diesem Tamper eine perfekte Kaffeeextraktion erzielt werden.

It only took him about 3-5 minutes to finish it, but he’s about 60lbs, so maybe a bigger size bowl would be better for him. Max capacity of this one is 190 ml. You do have to monitor your dog with this bowl - mine tried to dismantle the bowl when it was empty, trying to get more out of it. Overall I think it’s a fun way to get your dog to drink a little bit more with diluted yogurt, broth, etc.

Kudos to whomever created this! I have a super attached (med) dog that follows me from room to room alllll day. The first time I put this down he went right for it and didn’t even notice i had left the deck. He is very food driven. I used bone broth and pumpkin puree, which was a hit but once I used the apple sauce… HUGE hit. My only complaint is that it doesn’t come in an XL size. My dog can empty it in under 3 minutes..so he doesn’t get relaxed or sleepy! it does splash out a bit from the top so I use it on his food mat or outside..my sister can’t stand the noise the ball makes. I wasn’t diluting enough so the ball doesn’t move smoothly in the video, but it really does work! The cover is very well made and sturdy. I didn’t notice it sliding around at all. My dog also did not try to get the ball out (loves to tear apart toys) or tip it over, but I could see that happening. I wouldn’t use unsupervised unless you have a small dog. Please make a larger size!!!!

This slow feeder is actually a very good idea and my dog likes it. I blend plain, unsweetened yogurt with a little powdered pumpkin & apple pectin and thin it down with water so the roller ball can easily rotate. It's sturdy and it doesn't slip on the floor, which is good. However, I give it only three stars because the bowl inside is a ridiculous design. Instead of the inside surface being a gently sloping, smooth surface, the "legs" underneath protrude up through the inside (see photo). It makes stirring and cleanup much more difficult than it needs to be. Presumably, it's made using injection molding so it should be easy to design it with a smooth finish.

Happy licking brain stimulation!
