Verarbeitet wird nur Wolle von hoher Qualität, wodurch dieser Teppich vor allem für seine Langlebigkeit bekannt geworden ist. Die Wolle wird von den Gasghai-Nomaden meist selbst natürlich gefärbt, dadurch erhalten die Teppiche ihren ganz eigenen Charme.
